GEFCO remains your strong supply chain partner for any difficulties you may experience due to the Coronavirus virus outbreak in China. With 26 years of experience in China we are proactively seeking solutions to alleviate any service disruptions.

We are following recommendations of the Chinese authorities and the World Health Organization, and continuing our operations in China whenever possible. We are working closely with all our business partners in China and around the world to offer time critical solutions when needed.

Experts confirm that the Coronavirus virus generally survives for only a few hours or at most a few days in a humid environment. The length of the boat journey from China to Europe, for example, makes it impossible for the virus to survive. The rail, plane environment and cargo bay atmosphere are dry, which creates adverse conditions for the virus’s survival.
